Conscious consumers
All of our pieces are designed in New York, and ethically produced and manufactured in China.
We were conscious consumers before we built Rest & Relax, so from the very beginning we built the necessary practices into our business model to ensure we were always in support of ethical labor.
We use over 90% organic and recycled fabrics including certified organic cotton, cashmere, and wool. As well as sustainably-sourced recycled nylon and viscose. Our trimmings are proudly plastic-free. We use buttons made from corozo–a bio-based material, as well as metal snaps in place of plastic.
We do not mass produce in questionable factories with unknown, never ending supply chains and aggressive deadlines. We have an incredible team of sewers and finishers, working in world-recognized facilities in safe, happy and comfortable environments. We cherish each and every person that touches our product throughout the process as without them, we wouldn't be Rest & Relax.
All pieces are packaged with recycled paper hangtags, and individually in reusable biodegradable zip bags. We ship each order in recycled plastic mailers.
Sustainability is a major focus at Rest & Relax, and something we continue to work towards improving throughout our entire supply chain.

Sustainability
Our packaging is proudly virgin plastic-free, made from organic and recycled materials. We strive to create as least waste during our production processes as possible, R&R products are made with the highest ethical standards from GOTS-certified manufacturers.
Quality
We believe in buying less, and wearing more. We encourage our customers to mix and match what’s already available in your wardrobe. Our R&R Essentials easily slot into an existing wardrobe, and can be used as building blocks to a personalized capsule wardrobe.

We believe in easy, effortless style. We strive to make sure that each piece is as comfortable, breathable and durable as possible. Our materials are carefully selected for their softness, as well as their ability to be layered for both any occasion.
Inclusivity
The typical fit of our pieces is ‘relaxed’, allowing for a multitude of sizes to fit comfortably. At launch, our size range is XS-XXL. We have set the goal to expand our sizing even further.
